This podcast is an interview with Naturopath and fasting expert, Tim Altman. Tim recently put me on a 5 day juice fast / cleanse, with a very thorough re-introduction to food program. In this discussion Tim outlines fasting at – a high level – both interment and extended fasting, the ways you can go about fasting, and the benefits people see from giving the body a rest. We touch on both physiological benefits for improved performance, right through to dealing with chronic illness. Lastly, we discuss my 5 day cleanse experience, including my symptoms and test results.
