In today’s episode I am speaking with an ultra-endurance weapon that rides for Bennelong Swisswellness, Nathan Elliott. No man in history has won back to back Melbourne to Warrnambool, Australia’s biggest one-day classic, a 277km beast of a race. And now Nathan’s added further credibility to his ultra-endurance credentials by winning the second biggest one-day classic race here in Australia – the Grafton to Inverell.
In this discussion we start with Nathan’s introduction into cycling, which is a unique story in itself, right through to the final cat and mouse tactics between him and Raphael Freienstein from InForm Make on those final km’s to the Inverell finish line.
